Here is the agenda!
A Woman's Wit: Jane Austen's Life and Legacy, The Morgan Museum & Library
Watteau to Degas: French Drawings from the Frits Lugt Collection, The Frick Collection
Watteau, Music, and Theater, The Metropolitan Museum of Art
I will post more on each show when I return. If you have been to the shows be sure to leave a comment on how you found them!
I wish I could have joined you today! Now, I'll have to visit all 3 exhibits on my own. :(
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read your impressions of them.
Have fun. At least today, you have relatively nice weather. It's not a monsoon like yesterday. I plan on seeing the Austen exhibit on her birthday.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear your opinion on the Watteau show at the Met. I heard it is small but fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI'm so-o-o envious! I hope you had a fabulous time and would like to hear what you have to say about the Watteau show at the Met. It's unusual to find one show about Watteau, but two in the same place at the same time? Is there such a disease as Art Gout? For overindulgence of wonderful art.
ReplyDeleteFun! I will be going in January. Brrrr.
