Yes, a very sweet face, and I like her Head with the smattering of tiny flowers. I'm not sure about the lacy fabric going so high up the sleeve, though.

When did the womenfolk become such war mongers? One look at that necklace and one sees that there is enough skinny black ribbon out there for ALL of you to have one. Settle down, she-devils.
ReplyDeleteAnywho, she really does have a sweet face. It would be neat to have a wallpaper made up of several images like this one, all loosely strung together with doodly scrolls.
Sweet face, yes, but am I the only one who thinks that the artist captured something behind those slightly crossed-eyes. This is a really unusual portrait: the sitter doesn't look too bright! I'm fascinated!
