what a resemblance with kate's and grace jelly's dress. both utterly beautiful women wearing gorgeous gowns! i loved it. i'm glad that she went with something elegant and reasonably simple
Loved it! And the veil and tiara! There's just one thing though: i'm just not a big fan of big trains in general. But overall it was really classy, elegant, actually timeless! It's a YAY! ;)
I thought the dress was stunning and she looked absolutely gorgeous. What I was struck by was that she looked like a bride, not someone's idea of what she should look like. Her dress suited her, it was simple and elegant, not overfussy.
Splendid! Beauty in every sense- I love that you posted Grace Kelly's wedding photo as well- I can't believe how similar the style. Gracious, elegant..I could go on and on!
Yes, simply stunning and a wonderful reflection of her personality. And yes, thank goodness this dress will bring back the sleeved wedding dress. I am sick of seeing brides either stuffed into or hanging onto strapless wedding dresses. Hooray for Princess Catherine!
I really liked the dress. And YES, THEY BROUGHT SLEEVES BACK. Hoorray! I don't like sleeveless dresses, and now I hope there'll be more nice wedding gowns with sleeves in the future.
I also loved the train and the fact she wore her hair down!
Kate's wedding dress was of course beautiful, I just didn't think it suited her. I thought something more figure hugging with a nice flair at the bottom would have been more flattering and more her style. But I think Royal Tradition plays a big role in the style of dress chosen. Unfortunately that's where Kate loses out...she can't just pick whatever style she wants...something bare shoulders would have been stunning on her as well, but we all know that would never be allowed!!!
I'm so glad she brought sleeves back, I was dismayed to find very few gowns with them when I was dress-shopping and ended up with a sleeveless gown when I didn't want that. :(
Whether you wish you could time travel to the court of Versailles or the Highlands of Scotland, this comprehensive guide will walk you through how to make and wear your 18th century dream gown.
me too! she was absolutely beautiful.

She looked beautiful. Reminded me of Grace Kelly's wedding dress.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, simple, elegant, beautiful fabrics well cut, including the fabulous bridesmaid dress, not an extra frill or bow anywhere. Perfect.
