I loved the costumes in Downton Abbey this season. Now that we are waiting for season 3 of Downton Abbey, I thought I would put together a list of items that would fit into one's wardrobe (modern items) that could be Downton inspired.

Oh, yes! I just posted about the clothes of Downton Abbey on my blog as well. So happy to have found yours...
ReplyDeleteDo you know when season 3 is expected to air?
@Barbara I don't know the date, but not until 2013 in the US. *sad face*
ReplyDeleteI would check PBS for the date. I bet Feb. sigh...seems so far off! The costumes in the next season promise to be brilliant!
LOVE!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you've already seen this, but I knew I had to tell you about it as soon as I came across it. It's a comedy skit by French and Saunders called "Let Them Eat Cake," which parodies life in the 18th Century French Court. It's hilarious!! You can find the whole thing on YouTube!
ReplyDeleteJust discovered this blog,oh no I cannot wait until 2013 for more of Downton Abbey. I will have to buy the DVD! I just discovered it in 2nd season and LOVE it!!
ReplyDelete@worsanos I LOVE Let Them Eat Cake!! Are you watching the new series of Upstairs Downstairs? Bouffant plays the butler in it! :D
ReplyDelete@Elizabeth I know same! I just began to re-watch season 1 of Downton abbey and I feel like there were so many things I missed first time around. I suggest rewatching after you finish Season 2!
Downton Abbey is addictive!
ReplyDeleteAnd the "after market" is too too funny.
