4. 18th-century Playing Cards
"Published in 1707, these are pictorially the most elaborately engraved set of playing cards ever issued, and demonstrate fully the adulation at that time accorded to the first Duke of Marlborough during his overseas battle campaigns.
Although primarily intended as a compliment to the Duke's successes, the pack deals with a variety of European political issues and includes several portraits of royalty connected with the campaigns. The spade suit comprises almost entirely a series of savage, not to say scurrilous, attacks upon the French king, Louis XIV."

6. Reproduction of Marie-Antoinette's Tea Service
This tea cup, accompanied by a saucer, reproduces the historic tea service of queen Marie-Antoinette, made by the Royal Manufactory of Sèvres in 1782.
The delicate "beads and cornflowers" pattern shows cornflowers between two rows of beads on a green background framed in a gold fillet. Two original pieces of this service still exist, one of which is in the Château de Versailles.
7. Versailles Votive Light
Bernardaud artisans use the same technique of hand-sculpting fine, bisque porcelain that was first demonstrated by French artist Paul de Bourgoing in 1828. The glow of a candle shines through the raised and carved surface to contrast light against shadow, revealing a richly detailed design. Bernardaud VotiveLight™ candles add a warm, decorative glow to any room of the home.
